Why does hair part down the back

  • Why does hair part down the back?
  • How to stop back hair part?

Using a mirror to see the back of your head, you might think it was a bald spot and that your hair was thinning. It is actually just hair that grows weirdly at the one part or cowlick. It could be due to hair thinning or slower hair growth that creates the hair part down the back.

On cowlick, you can also read more about whether cowlicks are heredity in our other post.

I bet you know that everybody has a natural hair part, hair growth pattern, whirls. What this means is that if your hair is parting down the middle, it shows the hair growth pattern at every part of your scalp. However, there’s a huge difference between a natural hair part and the part you get caused by several other factors.

Hair part at back

As a matter of fact, you can part your hair the way you want. However, there’s one place that looks really great in this case. This is directly determined by the cowlicks you might have. A cowlick is the angle of your skin that really affects the way your hair should grow.

Cowlicks determine your natural hair part but there is no one way that means you have to part your way this way. As a matter of fact, no one is even very sure of what causes Cowlicks. People have cowlicks regardless of their age or gender. However, there are some of the people that have two cowlicks, one in the back of the head and the other one in the other direction. This may make you look as if you are thinking but it’s not the case.

Which side should you part the hair?

There are several men’s parted hairstyles that are making headlines in the market. These hairstyles such as the modern comb and side part have come to reality again. These are the styles that have given rise to this question of which side should you part the hair.

One thing you have to know in this case is that most men have one natural part that makes the difference regardless of the straight, wavy, or curly hair. To answer this question, you should check at the side that most men part their hair. As a matter of fact, if you checked, you will realize that most of them will part their hair to the left.

Regardless of this fact, hair grows in different directions, and hence how and the direction you should part your hair is directly dependent on the direction that your hair grows.

What determines which way you should part your hair?

There are several things that play a role when you are looking for the best way to part your hair. As a matter of fact, the first thing that makes the difference is personal preferences. There are some of the people that parts hair in a certain direction based on their personal preferences. You may have a certain connection with a certain hairstyle that makes you part your hair to the left or right.

Although personal preferences play a role, it’s not as major as the natural direction of your hair. As a matter of fact, there are several natural characteristics that are specific to individuals. As I had already stated, people have different cowlicks. This is what makes the difference. The direction of the spiral on the top of the head towards the back plays a major role in this case.

This is how your hair circles on the crown area and hence it should be the first thing to check out when you are looking for a way for your hair to part. You don’t have a certain way to do this when natural growth makes the difference.

A good example, in this case, is when your spiral moves clockwise. In this regard, you should be on the left. Another example comes in if the air grows counter-clockwise. In this regard, you should part your hair to the right. I had also touched that there are a few characters that may be lucky enough to have two cowlicks which means they can part their hair on either the side.

The way your hair parts may as well be a matter of race. Although there is not enough evidence on this, most black Americans have hair that parts differently from their counterparts. There are some of the publications that support these claims. However, the evidence revealed is not satisfactory.

Do you care about conventional wisdom?

This is another issue that plays a major role in this case. There are several individuals that don’t even care about conventional wisdom. If you are one of them, then you shouldn’t be caring about the natural angles. You can party your hair based on s several other factors including personal preferences. In most of the cases, people who don’t care about natural roles part their hair in a direction that their hair best combs on. If you find out that your hair parts well on left, then that is exactly what you will false it to do.

How to stop back hair part

If you want to fight this battle and win, there are several things you should do.

  • Wet the area in question-This makes the difference and hence you don’t have to clean the entire head but the place in question.
  • Apply a styling product with hold-This is the next thing to do if you want to fight the battle and win.
  • Brush against the cowlicks-Now you have to brush against the cowlick to hide it completely.
  • Switch up your direction- The last thing to do is to switch up your direction.
  • Try the squish trick
  • Now use a no-crease clip to set the area. In this case, still, make sure that your hair is still hot.
  • Lastly, finish with a little hair spray and everything else will be perfect.

How do I find my natural part?

It may sound funny but there are some people that have never discovered their natural part. If you are one of them and you are still confused, then worry no more. At this point in time, we are going to give three rules of thumb that you can use to deduce your natural part. Though, before you land to it, you will have to do some conventional experiments.

Step 1

Wet your hair-This is the first step you should make to get the real picture. Make sure you have wetted your hair completely and it can fold easily. After that, the next thing to do is to comb it forward.

Step 2

After combing your hair, wait for some time and your hair will now start to separate and eventually revealing your natural hair part.

If this doesn’t work for you, then the next thing to do is to always comb your hair to the left and right. This is ultimately a personal choice but eventually, you will get all the cases solved. As a matter of fact, no one even cares which side their hair parts, it may sound convincing but you don’t have to care so much if you have a hairstyle that doesn’t even rely on it.
