Cinnamon is a fragrant aromatic spice that is used to add flavor in baking and cooking. It is mainly used in sweet and savory dishes like my favorite cinnamon melt from McDonald’s. While it seems weird to use spice on your hair it offers a myriad of benefits.

So, what are the benefits of applying it to your hair?

As we age, many of us deal with hair loss. Cinnamon stimulates the scalp when applied by increasing blood flow to the hair follicles. This also encourages the growth of new hair follicles. But that’s not all, Cinnamon is also has antimicrobial properties which can treat scalp problems like dandruff and fungal infections.

Here is one good example.

A popular Youtube channel, Babilon created a self-made cinnamon hair mask for hair growth. Her video shows how she detangle her hair then applying with a brush and hand the DIY Cinnamon hair mask ( has gathered over a million views and a ton of positive comments and testimonials.

Beer is the most drank alcoholic beverage worldwide. Had a drinking session and have some leftover beer after a night of drinking? Time to put beer into work! Beer contains malt and hops which are full of protein that can strengthen hair cuticles and promote hair growth. The B vitamins and alcohol content will also add shine to your hair.

Adina Grigore the author of the popular Skin Cleanse The Simple, All-Natural Program for Clear, Calm, Happy Skin advocates using beer in the shower to keep hair healthy too.

Excessive intake and binge drinking are extremely harmful so try not to drink the beer.

Beer can be used on its own as a hair conditioner or with other ingredients like an egg to become a hair mask.
