Afterward, rinse your face with some lukewarm water. It will only take 20 minutes and all the hairs on your face will be loosened and will come off when you scrub the turmeric paste. Note that turmeric works best when the facial hair is little. If the hair is dense, you may have to opt for the more powerful remedies.

Does turmeric remove facial hair permanently?

Go ahead to mash the flesh of the papaya until you obtain a thick paste. Take about two tablespoons of the mashed papaya and mix with one teaspoon of turmeric. Take this paste and apply it on the affected area. Ensure that you massage it onto the skin in such a way that it reaches and covers the hair follicles. Allow it about 15 minutes for the paste to dry. Afterward, wash it off with some lukewarm water. You can repeat this procedure at least two times a week. This will work to slow down the regrowth of hair.

You can also opt to use papaya without adding turmeric. It still works to get rid of the hairs at the affected area. In this case, what you should do is prepare raw papaya and apply its paste directly onto the area and ensure that all the hair follicles are covered. Massage it onto the skin and wash after 15 minutes.

Turmeric hair removal side effects

The truth is there are many benefits that come with using turmeric on your skin. In most cases, the good outweighs the bad. However, you also have to be aware of any side effects that may be associated with using turmeric to remove unwanted body hair. The most common side effect of turmeric is an allergic reaction. There are people who are allergic to turmeric and may have problems if it comes into contact with their skin. When it comes into contact with your skin you will notice that there are rashes that break out at that area. These rashes tend to be itchy and can be painful too.

Shortness of breath is associated with the use of turmeric. This is also an allergic reaction. While some people will have rashes others experience shortness of breath or both. This can actually be serious and calls for immediate medical attention. The best thing that you can do if you notice any of these reactions is to discontinue the use of turmeric on your skin.
