Many people don’t even take time to ensure that their hair is well brushed. You might be wondering why the dandruff problem is stuck with you. Poorly brushing your hair is one of the risk factors.

There are lots of dead skin cells that are on your scalp and need to be to be removed. When you brush the hair you are able to get rid of these dead skin cells. They, therefore, don’t accumulate on your scalp and cause the development of dandruff. Additionally, brushing stimulates blood circulation on the scalp and this, in turn, ensures that you have healthy hair. Get a good quality comb or brush and use it to properly brush your hair at least two times a day.

Shampoo your hair frequently

Well-kept and clean hair is definitely healthy. This means that you won’t have to deal with the issue of dandruff. Ensure that you wash your hair from time to time. When you wash your hair every day you prevent dead skin cells and oil from accumulating on the scalp and causing dandruff. Use a good quality shampoo and ensure it does not have the tough chemicals that can damage your hair. Similarly, if you want to use conditioner after washing the hair apply it an inch away from the scalp. Ensure that there is no residue of either shampoo or conditioner that is left on the hair.

Manage stress

One way of preventing the occurrence of dandruff is by managing your stress. Stress not only affects you emotionally but also physically. Your daily stresses from probably work, school or your family may be what is causing the outbreak of dandruff on your scalp.
